• Biography

Dohyun Kim has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Major in Computer Engineering in the Division of Artificial Intelligence Engineering at National Korea Maritime & Ocean University since March 2025. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Security, specializing in Digital Forensics, from the School of Cybersecurity at Korea University in August 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Sangjin Lee. Prior to his current role, he was an Assistant Professor at Catholic University of Pusan from April 2020 to February 2025, a Research Professor at Korea University from September 2019 to March 2020, and a Researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) from July 2017 to August 2019. His research interests include Digital Forensics (PC & Mobile devices), Vulnerability Analysis (Firmware & Operating Systems & Applications), and Machine Learning & Deep Learning with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP).
